Amazon Prime Video has ordered a series adaptation of the explicit and raunchy comic book titled Sex Criminals.
It follows a couple who have the power to stop time whenever they orgasm—and they use that ability to rob banks. The series will be live-action, with comedy woven into all the sex and robberies.
But can we trust Amazon to adapt it properly and include all the explicit sex scenes? Well, that’s the big question. Historically, Amazon has refused to adapt projects properly and has often ended up ruining them. However, I think this time we can trust them—and here’s why:
The creators of the comic book are set to executive produce this absurd series, so it’s in good hands—unless Amazon steps in to censor or “correct” things and robs us of nudity and sex.
Currently, no casting has been announced, but hopefully a mainstream actress gets cast—someone like Jenna Ortega, Mikey Madison, or any young actress who fits the role.
