The film follows Laura as she returns to her household life, trying to adjust with her children, who aren’t excited about her return. However, her husband is relieved that he won’t have to do the daily chores by himself anymore.
At the start, Amy Adams is shown in the pool, braless, with her pokies in see-through top—we can kind of see.
Then there’s a shower scene; again, nothing is shown as she hides melons with her hand. She runs toward the pool to jump in, and we get a brief look at side-boob from a back shot.
This is all we get from the film. Pretty disappointing.
Every year, she comes to film festivals promising something, but it’s always just a tease. Hopefully, she’ll finally do that trending younger-man/older-woman erotic thriller that’s very popular in Hollywood nowadays.
