This one sounds like an all-rounder. The director recently shared some details about the series she has been working on over the past year, and now that it’s completed, more information has been revealed.
The upcoming BBC drama titled “Mint” follows a Scottish crime family and a budding romance between Shannon (Emma Laird) and Aaron, two young lovers from rival firms.
I’m not sure whether the BBC will push the boundaries much with Emma, but they have delivered some strong scenes from time to time. At the moment, there’s no release date or teaser, so we’ll have to wait and see what it looks like.
Emma Laird also has three upcoming series:
- Neuromancer – currently filming
- Blood on Snow – currently in post-production
- The Housekeeper – in pre-production, where she plays a lesbian character, which makes it particularly interesting.
