What We Know about Prime Video’s ‘Every Year After’: Will They Keep the Explicit Scenes?

Prime Video’s ‘Every Year After’ is an explicit book but will it be adapted properly? Amazon Prime isn’t stopping from adapting all Young-Adult books in the world. They have butchered many in the past but will they adapt this new series properly? Well, I can’t answer that yet but hopefully they do.

What is the book about?

The story follows Percy, Charlie and his little brother Sam. Sam loves Percy but she ended up losing her virginity to Charlie. Sam got hurt. Fast forward to a decade, Percy is now 30 and she returns to the lakeside cottage once again and old trauma resurfaces.

About Skin and Love-Making?

Well there’s graphic description of Sex and Skin show with detailed description of private parts during intercourse. In the book there are at least two such scenes and a good amount of skinny dipping scenes.

The only concern is will Amazon Prime adapt it properly with all its contents, probably not. Their recent YA shows left out all the explicit content so they might do the same with this but recently their adaptation of 56 Days showing Dove Cameron vulnerable does make me hopeful.

Cast:

The series stars Elisha Cuthbert as Charlie and Sam’s mom, Sadie Soverall as Percy, Michael Bradway as Charlie, Matt Cornett as Sam.

When will it release?

Currently there’s no release date, it is filming at the time of this writing.
