Paramount’s hit female-led series ‘Special Ops: Lioness’ has garnered some loyal fans after Season 2, and while Season 3 is doing really well with the plot and the whole kidnapping of Zoe Saldana’s character, Joe, this season is surprisingly really tame when it comes to sexual content and nudity.
We got Zoe Saldana’s brief butt in Episode 1 and nudity from Genesis Rodriguez, and there’s some other random nudity here and there. But one of the biggest letdowns is the romance between Cruz and Josie.
In Season 2, their romance was established, and fans were expecting to see more of it, but these two characters have nothing going on this season. There could’ve been an amazing threesome scene in Episode 5, but that didn’t happen. And it’s not like I am just speaking from a gooner’s perspective, but if that threesome scene had happened, their relationship might have become more interesting, with jealousy, a brief fight, and then some romance. At least they would’ve had something to do in this season.
Another disappointment is Joe. With a lot of focus on her family and her husband this season, there’s surprisingly no intimacy between them. In Episode 6, there was a scene where they start kissing on the couch, but then the camera cuts away.
And with just two episodes remaining, I don’t think we’ll get anything decent now because we are in the endgame, and a lot of the focus will be on gun battles, Joe’s escape, and the repercussions.
Hopefully, I am wrong, and Taylor Sheridan slipped a good sex scene into Episode 7 because I don’t think it’s happening in the finale.
