R-Rated Movies Coming in September & October That I’m Watching

Anyone who wants to see nudity in films looks for an R MPA rating, but these days, even R-rated films don’t contain much nudity or sex. But what can we do? Hollywood has become obsessed with hiding beautiful bodies and not adding sex. There are lots of R-rated films releasing in the remaining months of September and October, but not all of them interest me, so here are eight R-rated films that I am looking forward to watching.

(1) The Love Hypothesis

Lili Reinhart stars in this Prime Video film based on a novel. It is rated R for some sexual content/nudity. She has clearly said in interviews that the film has tamed the explicit sex scenes from the novel, and she has a blink-and-you-miss-it nip slip, but I am still excited to watch it for the sex scene. Hopefully, it is enjoyable and in good lighting. Releasing September 24th on Prime Video.

(2) The Deputy

The film follows a young sheriff’s deputy who finds himself in the crosshairs of dangerous criminals when the dead body he is assigned to keep an eye on disappears from a crime scene. It is rated R for sexual content and nudity. I don’t know who gets naked in this, but Julia Fox is in it, so I guess her. But there are also other actresses who might strip down, including Billie Lourd. We shall see. Releasing September 25th on VOD.

(3) Appofeniacs

This film, which focuses on the consequences of deepfakes, is rated R for sexual content only, which includes a brief sex scene in the pool and also some deepfaked nude photos of the lead female character. Releasing in theaters on October 2nd.

(4) Verity

Starring Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway, the film is a psychological thriller rated R for sexual content and some nudity, which means no full nudity. The most we can expect is some brief side breasts and fleeting ass in the shower and during sex scenes in dark, dim lighting, but it will be fun to see both actresses sharing the same screen. Releasing October 2nd in theaters.

(5) Love of Your Life

Starring Margaret Qualley, this romantic film is rated R for only brief nudity and no sexual content. The brief nudity is from a shower scene.

(6) Trust Me, I’m a Doctor

There’s no nudity or sex in the film, but it has Abbie Cornish playing Anna Nicole Smith, and just for that, I am going to watch it. Releasing October 16th in theaters.

(7) A Talent for Murder

The film stars Olivia Cooke and Helen Mirren. It is rated R only for sexual content. There are a few sex scenes that are described as sexy in reviews, but no nudity at all. Releasing October 23rd in theaters.

(8) Gentle Monster

Starring Léa Seydoux, this film is rated R for graphic nudity. Léa is naked in at least two scenes while having sex, which we don’t see much on screen. Releasing in theaters on October 30th.
