Mikey Madison and Léa Seydoux Erotic Period Drama Film Update!

The story is set during a deadly plague called the Red Death, a disease so brutal that victims die within minutes, bleeding from their pores. To escape it, Prince Prospero, a wealthy nobleman, seals himself inside a fortified abbey with a thousand other elites. They throw an extravagant masquerade ball, believing wealth and isolation will protect them from death.

The party takes place in seven color-themed rooms, arranged in a specific order, ending with a black room featuring a terrifying ebony clock that stops the music every hour. As the night goes on, a mysterious masked figure appears—one who should never have been allowed inside.

There is no sexual content in the original story, but since the movie will be a reimagining, several changes are expected. For instance, there are no twin sisters in the original story, so Mikey Madison’s character is completely new.

This means there will be more new characters who were not part of the original story, and there will likely be sex as well.

Director Charlie Polinger revealed that filming has begun.

He also stated that the movie is a dark comedy and not a faithful or strict adaptation, and that it will feature opium-fueled orgies (wait, did he say orgies?).

Since Mikey is playing a double role, it will be interesting to see her in these orgies—hopefully with both characters present in the same scene.
