Prime Video is diving deep into adaptations rather than original stories. They have found success so far with adaptations in various genres, like Off Campus in the YA genre, Reacher in the action genre, Fallout in the video game genre, etc.
So they are not stopping anytime soon, and in the last 6 months they have announced lots of adaptations of movies and TV shows straight from books. So in this post, I am giving you the hottest book/novel adaptations they are currently developing or about to release, and each one of these is likely to be super hot.
(1) Every Year After (TV)
All 8 episodes premiere June 10, 2026. Sadie Soverall is the main lead, playing Percy, who has sex scenes with nudity described in the books and many instances where she is naked, like skinny-dipping scenes. Will these scenes get adapted in the series? We shall find out very soon.
(2) Off Campus Season 2 (TV)
Season 1 had a good amount of nudity and sex, especially from Mika Abdalla, who is the main lead in Season 2, so I am expecting some really wild scenes from her.
(3) The Love Hypothesis (Film)
Lili Reinhart will play Olive, who makes romance with her professor. In the book, sex and nudity are described in detail with detailed nude body descriptions, and there are multiple sex scenes. It is rated R for sexual content and nudity, so I think we can expect some good stuff.
(4) Fourth Wing (TV)
The fantasy-romance book about dragon riders is a very explicit one. It follows Violet, who is small and fragile and trying to survive in college. There she meets a charming guy, and romance blossoms.
The series is currently in development, and no lead cast has been announced. However, Inde Navarrette from Obsession revealed she wants to play Violet. No matter who gets cast, it will be amazing to see all the sex and nudity being adapted since it is really hard to miss. There are lots of explicit sex and nudity scenes from many characters in the book, so let’s see if any famous actress gets cast in this.
(5) The Last Sunrise (Film)
The novel is being adapted into a film starring Maia Reficco and Sabrina Bartlett. The novel follows a young American woman with health challenges who finds unexpected romance with a charismatic local during her summer in Majorca, forcing her to weigh her heart’s desires against family obligations and her planned return home.
And of course, the book has sex and nudity, but it is not as explicit as the other books I mentioned in this post.
(6) Rose Hill (TV)
This is probably the most explicit book recently to get adapted. Rose Hill is a set of multiple books, and each book follows a different couple. The first book, ‘Wild Love,’ is being adapted. The story follows a wealthy billionaire music producer who, after getting chased by paparazzi, moves to Rose Hill for peace. There he meets his best friend’s younger sister and starts having sex with her. The sex is described in a borderline pornographic way, with detailed sex acts, such as oral sex, sex positions, female body descriptions, penis descriptions, etc.
Currently, no one has been cast in it, so I am excited to see any young actress get a chance to make her nude debut in this because there’s no way Prime Video can get away with removing those explicit sex scenes. And since the book author, Elsie Silver, is executive producing herself, I think it will get a proper adaptation like she wants.
