Even before its November premiere, The Hunting Wives received an early renewal for Season 3 at Netflix. That shows just how much confidence Netflix has in this series, and it’s not surprising since Season 1 really blew everyone’s minds and became a hit.
Now, Season 2 is just one and a half months away, and people are starting to discuss it online. But since there’s no teaser or trailer yet, what we can expect is still largely a mystery.
I’m here to tell you what you can expect.
First, Sophie and Margo will have a more romantic relationship. Sophie will face an internal struggle because she killed Kyle, and Margo doesn’t know about it. Having sex with the sister of a guy she killed is going to eat her up inside, but eventually, she will reveal the truth. However, not before the two have sex in multiple locations.
Significantly more sex has been teased by Brittany Snow, while creator Rebecca Cutter has also revealed a really hot bathtub scene. However, the extent of the nudity remains unconfirmed.
Callie, who was under Margo’s thumb in Season 1, now has a new woman in her life, Nadia Kelly, played by Kim Matula. She still loves Margo but won’t let anyone dominate her in Season 2. Meanwhile, Margo will lose her power over everyone, bringing out her emotional and vulnerable side.
Rebecca Cutter recently said, “We get to see more toxicity, more love, more sex, more rage, more conniving, more murder wives — everything!”
So, there are a lot of interesting things to look forward to in Season 2. I’m definitely excited to see Callie with Nadia. I think they could be Sophie and Margo 2.0, since Nadia seems as naive as Sophie was in Season 1, while Callie is an experienced Hunting Wife. In one promotional image, Callie is teaching Nadia how to shoot, which is very similar to Margo and Sophie in Season 1.
I’m also looking forward to seeing Angel Reese, who is a basketball player in real life, and this will be her acting debut. She plays Trainer Barbie, who works as a trainer for Baylor University’s basketball team and is also tasked with keeping Brad under control.
Considering how Brad had a sexual relationship with Margo in Season 1, I think we can assume that something similar might happen with Trainer Barbie as well.
It would definitely be hot to see Angel Reese doing sexual stuff in her acting debut, but nothing like that has been confirmed yet.
