Prime Video’s Off Campus proved to be a massive hit in many countries, and they wasted no time starting production on the second season, which is currently filming in Canada. Now, Netflix, being Netflix, has announced its own ice hockey romance series similar to Off Campus.
Netflix has announced a series adaptation of the novel Icebreaker, which was released in 2022. The story follows Anastasia, who is chasing Olympic gold in figure skating, and Nate, the captain of an ice hockey team. After a mix-up, both teams are forced to share the same rink, creating tension that eventually leads to romance.
Like Off Campus, the novel contains explicit sexual content and several intimate scenes.
Currently, no cast has been announced. Most likely, an unknown actress will be cast, similar to Off Campus. But will the series be as sexy and provocative as the Prime Video show?
