Enigma Variations keeps getting hotter as Sarah Pidgeon joins Alicia Vikander and Riley Keough to play Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s lover in this Netflix limited series.
The series is based on the novel, which features a good amount of nudity and sex. In the novel, we see Aaron’s character (Paul) grow across 10 years, during which he has multiple lovers who all teach him something and change him.
He is a bisexual man who has lots of erotic thoughts and entertains himself with lusty fantasies.
As for what we can expect from the series, I think brief female nudity and a moderate level of sex is all we’re going to get. The writer is Amanda Kate Shuman, who also worked on The Wheel of Time series, and she isn’t known for writing good sex, which might change in the future. But I don’t necessarily think it will happen in this Netflix series, especially in these times when Netflix is reducing sex and nudity in its mainstream projects.
